Mirror and radio fuse issue

Post by educkham » Wed Apr 23, 2014 6:59 pm

Mirror and radio conked out at the weekend. I have got hold of the right fuses, but when I went to make the change, the number 8 socket (the rigth one according to my diagram) had a wire coming out of it, rather than a fuse. Am not overly technically minded and am therefore a little confused.

Any ideas gratefully recieved :-s

I should think you have a leisure battery and it's been changed to run off that
Follow the cable / wire and there should be another fuse or fuse box
Gas safe heating engineer / plumber if you need any advice just shout.

Followed the wire, found the other fuse box and located the busted fuse. Slightly different shape to the ones I bought, but imagine I can easily get the new one.

No longer confused and very grateful for the help - :D :D
