Fiamma F35 & VWT3 Brackets - HELP !!

Hoping you can help

I'm about to install my F35 awning but am confused about the bracket. Looking at the install instructions, it doesn't look like the back bracket sits overly neat in the gutter. It's better seated if I reverse it but not sure if that's correct.

Any advise from those that have one installed?

They're not a perfect fit. A quick search brings up a few useful threads, but there is plenty more info on the forum regarding this subject.
