Hello all,
I have just been informed that the drivers side shock absorber needs to be replaced so they recommended doing both as one would be stronger than the other. So i have manged to find the following website with the parts on
http://www.buypartsby.co.uk/buy/MAZDA/BONGO/_F ... absorbers/
Now they are KYB shocks and I also so one on ebay saying genunie mazda
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_trksi ... &_from=R40
They have the same S10H34700A and S10H34900A. Only the first links cheaper and is KYB make and the second ones are slightly more expensive and say mazda.
Anybody had an issues using KYB? Or recommend a cheaper place to get the shocks from
Thanks

I stand to be corrected ...but I think that kyb (that link didn't work btw) are an oe supplier? ive no experience of the them personally but I know people that have used them and found them ok (not on bongo's). I would say that the ones from vospers (mazda main dealer) were fair money for a genuine part? how much were the kyb units though?
Re: Front Shock Absorber required
I got mine from a Mazda main dealer - cheaper than anywhere on the internet at that time.
They arrived within a week of being ordered, all they need is your VIN.

Vehicle Identification Number. You will find it on the metal plate / sticker inside one or both of the door shuts, as well as stamped into the metal beneath the scuttle under the bonnet. The number will start SGL.....

Re: Front Shock Absorber required
It's just one of many TLA's (Three Letter Acronyms)

Re: Front Shock Absorber required
It is what used to be known as the "chassis" number and nowadays is only really ever referred to as the "VIN".extraspark wrote:Thanks for the VIN info all these abbreviations I need a lie down
NOT VIN Number as if it was that would mean Vehicle Identification Number Number.
