If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.
Went over to Pooley Bridge in the lakes 12th/13th April(Park Foot camp site). It was my first trip of the year with my oldest son aged 7. No fancy set up just pulled up, roof up chucked all the bags etc up there and that was it apart from setting up the bed. Heres a few pics. First trip of many this year I hope.
I was surprised how empty the site was considering it is kids easter hols. The other side with hook up was busier. It's years since I've been to this site but it was nice, shower blocks and everything good. The big field opposite the site would be ideal for a Bongo bash.
Indeed. We actually camped at the Waterside House site just down the road but we walked through the Park Foot site to get to the trekking centre at the far end. Looked to have good facilities & shop etc. The site we camped at had the advantage of being on the lake but Park Foot did look nice.
Oooh lovely photos, I love the one on the little bridge. I haven't been to the Lakes for years! Hope to remedy that soon as I love it there and also to finally get to see Scotland for the first time! hubby has been promising to take me there for 25 years
I spotted a Bongo for the first time the other day, it was towing a big caravan
