Rear wiper / MOT fail?

Post by Wishbone » Sat Apr 12, 2014 12:35 pm

Hi. Just bought my first Bongo and just joined Bongo Fury (so please be gentle with me). Rear wiper doesn't work. I'm going to check the loom between tailgate and main body of van but just need to know ... is it an MOT failure if rear wiper doesn't work? Cheers.

Cheers guys. Do you know the best way to check to see if it's the wiper motor that's failed?

I always thought if it was there it had to work? but if it wasn't present it made no odds. ours went u/s a short while into ownership but has been good for the last 3-4 years after a good soldering session at the loom bend. I had in mind if it let go again to splice a section of 8 core trailer cable into the loom at that point.
