Memory foam mattress

Post by Bongoworm » Sun Mar 30, 2014 8:38 am

Hi...I'm getting my new bongo on Tuesday....yippee! I'd like to get a memory foam mattress, can I close the roof with it up there and if so how thick should it be to close properly?
Thank you :D

You can but specific ones for bongos on
eBay. They are quite thin though. I would say
One of those plus an inflatable mattress
Would be best. That's what I use.

Poundstretcher is the best value I've found for these. £29.99 for a double if I remember correctly. I use two up top because the base is a bit firm, but one is adequate below. If you're feeling imaginative they would be easy to cut an insert out of for the roof hatch, but I've never bothered.

Hi
We have just had one from these guys too:

We can certainly recommend them. The memory foam matress we needed was made to suit our van as it has the catflap conversion and they could not have been more helpful .
