Under passenger seat close to end of bleed pipe is a contraption with tubes attached one is just dangling free, think this is something to do with exhaust valve(have winter pack) will attach a photo tomorrow, bongo is sluggish up hills and black smoke is now becoming more evident!

any ideas? thank you

the pipe is the one I have laid out towards the turbo

Mines not connected to anything either
Just curls down into a tubular crossmember under engine
I'd like to know what it is now
Looks like some kind of pump / vacuumed thingy

Do you have the winter pack? think it is to do with Exhaust, our other Bongo did not have this valve thing fitted and was a single batter version!

Will trace tubes back on another day

Yep it's to do with the exhaust valve system

It looks like it could be the filter breather pipe.
