Good afternoon all,
As someone that has only just been aware of Double DINs, I need some advice!
I have used the search function but with an item like this, the models/prices seem to vary so I you don't mind me starting up a new topic....
I'm in the market for a UK/Euroepean SATNAV as I will be using the Bongo to follow the Tour de France this summer. Then I came across the Double DINs.... I am aware that they are not the greatest SATNAVs but is this dependent on the brand/model?
As I am also stuck with Radio 2, I thought I would dabble in a new stero system. Again, seems to make sense to go for a Double DIN.
I'm happy to pay up to £200 for a decent bit of kit but if going higher means significant extra performance, I am all for it.

Have a look at the Erisin ones on Ebay. They have all sorts of functions, (including TV but make sure it's not analogue)
Just be aware that we've found that radios aren't much good though asthey don't seem to hold the stations very well. Sat nav works well and you can add POIs like speed cams, Wild Camping spots etc.
Other than that you are into a lot more money for Kenwoods etc.

Re: Double DINs
I have an old MEOS unit that has been very reliable and the SatNav has been OK. I'm currently getting an Android based unit which will enable any Android compatible SatNav to be used and has built in digital TV.
