Re: ALARM INDICATION
Do the indicators work as normal when the stalk is operated to either side ? If so then a lot of aftermarket alarm systems have a couple of inline fuses (one for each side) for the indicator output. They would normally be fitted close to the control unit if you know where that is.

Cheers for that, I never knew there could be two sides to the alarm when it was fitted?
As it happens the indicators and hazards are working as norm so I did think it was to something do with the alarm. Maybe I will give the alarm company a call tomorrow. As it is alarmed to the teeth I was cautious not to poke around too much in case I make it worse. It's a CAT1 fitted by an alarm company

Re: ALARM INDICATION
What make is the alarm?
Any other intermittent problems like not starting first time?
I have had this fault on a CAT1 system. It was nigh impossible to find the cause but got there in the end....

Re: ALARM INDICATION
It will depend on the alarm system whether it has fused indicator outputs or not but it will have separate feeds to each side indicator, if its not just a blown fuse it sounds like either there is a poor soldered connection at the indicator wiring or the internal relay for the indicator output in the alarm control unit has failed. the indicator connections would normally be made at the indicator stalk but it really depends on the vehicle its fitted to & the installer that fitted it.

Re: ALARM INDICATION
I've seen bongo's do something similar , nth almsot hit it on the head, depending on the connection location, if the indicator stalk is in the 'indicate' position, only that side will work.
Call up the installers they should happily come out and check it, and dont think just cos theyre a compnay, they're necessarily any good!
