Failed mot due to rear box help

Hi to day my bongo failed its mot bit of wielding not problem
But the rear exhaust has a hole that can't be fixed
My exhaust system is the winter one on a2.5 diesel
The problem I have is I looked to but a new one but the section from the rear box to a small bit in middle looks different to what's for sale ie mine does not have a little silence box just looks like a black bit of pipe I just want to buy a new rear box and the bit of pipe that goes with it
Can anyone help please as need to get sort this week for retest

why not let the garage who will issue the mot certificate give a quote?

Hi they didn't want to get involved as an import said cheap if I supplied and they would fit so I just need to know what to buy ???

Quite a few have just replaced it with a straight pipe, without the silencer. Try a local exhaust place to see what they can do 8)

There are dozens of Bongo exhausts one eBay that have the extra section for the winter pack. Some suppliers will sell you each piece seperately or you may be better off replacing the whole lot for £125:

The weakest part in the system is the backbox and if yours is still original then it's just a matter of time before it rusts and falls off.

Thanks for all the info it seems someone put a custom exhaust on my bongo so have decided to remove and put new correct exhaust system on .thanks again

I bought my rear box from Mazda, it was a while back but I don't recall it being silly money. My Bongo has the winter pack as well.
