front speakers

Post by khisanth » Thu Feb 06, 2014 4:04 pm

I know this has been addressed many times in various forms but i cant seem to find what i am looking for.

I want to upgrade my front speakers i took the old pioneer speakers out and tried my edge 205.

However the mounting bracket from the old speakers is too small ie i cant get the edge if the speakers near to the edge of the mounting bracket and when placed in the door the back of the speaker rests on the frame behind the speaker am not sure it should do this also when i put the mounting bracket on and the speaker the speaker sticks out by about 1cm any suggestions on how to fix this so i can get the speaker to work on advixe on a set that would work read about the usual jbls that braleak due to lack of space.

Any idea or suggestions be greatly appreciated
