Tackeroo 6, Cannock Chase, 12th-13th April 2014

If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

Campsite doesn't open until April.

The last weekend of April is the Welsh Bongo bash. The weekend before is Easter.

Ideal weekend would therefore be the weekend of 12th-13th April.

5th-6th April would be the earliest possible.

We're up for it :D

April 12/13 is ONLY weekend I have free - yessssssss! Spring is being planned.

I stopped off at Tackeroo on the way back from Scotland last May and would love to join in. Is there a gate on the campsite or can you arrive late evening?

There is a gate but I'm not sure it's ever shut (apart from winter). There have been people at previous meets only attend for the day and leave late, so you should be ok

Thanks Paul. I wouldn't arrive until late on the Friday night, even coming straight from work at 4pm!

Right - To hopefully generate some more interest, I'll change the title of the thread and put the list on the first post. I'll also contact dobby who has organised all the previous events here

Nice one Jayne and thanks for the pm Muz

We've been a bit absent both on the forum and at Tackeroo. So it great see it being sorted.

We should be there on the Sunday, my fair weather family permitting

Don't worry, there will be plenty of Spam. I've got some halal Spam to sample as well. I'm also searching for some veggie Spam but for the moment the industry-wide opinion seems to be that it's cruel as too many vegetables need to be unnecessarily slaughtered in the process
