Looking for ideas

As you may already know I have a tin top with 8 seats and a kitchen in the boot.

Whilst it works well if the weathers bad I don't want to cook outside
Our son wants to go to a festival thingy in Cornwall in the summer ( Can I park on your drive?)
So I am trying to design another kitchen so I take both seats out and bolt a side kitchen in with a shortened Bongo seat or a rock and roll bed.
So any ideas?
I would like the side to lift in in one piece to make it stronger and easier to fit
I have the hob and sink from the existing kitchen and I also have a couple of spare fridges, the whole idea is to design something so it can be easily converted from a camper with side conversion to a eight seater in a couple of hours, then I will be 8 seats 95% of the time but can camp easily too when required so I get the best of both worlds.
Has any one any plans for a Rock and roll bed?
I would prefer to use a shortened Bongo seat as then I could carry two passengers with seat belts safely but haven't seen any about.

How many people will be sleeping?

If only one downstairs, have you thought of using a sun lounger?

I once went canoeing with a CCC member who used a lounger to sleep in the back of a Transit van. With no seats in the back of the Bongo, this could work well for solo camping with a side kitchen and/or storage unit. A lot cheaper and quicker to install than a rock'n'roll bed.

Please don't vandalise that lovely existing unit in order to make a side kitchen!

Thanks I wont, I was hoping to find another hob and sink to fit, kicking my self really as I bought a complete kitchen in the summer but just couldn't make the lay out work so my mate has used it in his camper. Only recently had the festival request and cant afford a hotel and don't fancy a tent so the Bongo has to serve yet another purpose.

The plan is I will have two kitchens and just fit the side one when me an our son go camping a couple of times a year, 95% of the time its a people carrier as we take the elderly inlaws with us.
I wondered about this as I have some of the slats in the garage.

I think I have some box section too, not ideal as I would like to be able to carry passengers but its more on budget

We use the front and mid seats for a bed (remove headreasts). single air beds can be used to reduce the lumps and bumps. remove rear seats and add kitchen to side or use your existing one.
I assume a tin top seats can also be reclined flat

Yes they can, I will have a look at some ideas this week
