Thought I'd share what I've learnt.
Edge ED205 (5.25"/130mm) fit into the front. I had to snip off the wiring junction and fit spade connectors to the Freda's loom. In addition I needed to snip off some of the plastic mounting pod so the speaker connectors didn't foul part of it. I used a rubber mallet to get the old speaker out of the plastic housing. I had to support the black plastic housing from underneath on both sides to do those. It was also hello into the mount housing by just three screws. The new speaker has four. Just needed to drill four new holes for the new speaker. The speaker itself didn't quite fit into the cut out door recess (metal) due to a larger magnet than the standard speaker. However, most fits through and the top half rest on the lip. You can still get 2/3 of the 4 housing screws in to secure it and the door card still goes on with no issues.
FLI Integrator Coaxial 5x7 speakers are a direct fit for the rear mount. Just needed to snip the block connector from the original loom then attach spade connectors again. Not much sound from the rears but then I think that this is the norm isn't it? They just provide 'fill' for the fronts. The fact sheet in the members action was useful, but it made the rear seem very easy. I had to take out the rear seat and the side trim panels including the rear panel on the boot lip to get to the speakers properly. Even then I had to call a friend in to help drill out the old speaker screws holding them into the mount. The screws holding them into the mount were self tapping and would not budge. So have had to bodge the new speaker screws somewhat with raw plugs etc.
Was impressed by the original wiring and taping. Shame I had to undo some of it to attach the cables to attach the new speakers.

Thank you to all previous posters who unknowingly provided me with much needed support through the day

All connected up to a Pioneer DEH-8500BT now and sounding much better than stock components.
