Hi just wondered if I should fit a coolant alarm on a v6 2002 advice welcome

definitely fit a low coolant alarm. Much of the cooling system is common to the diesel models, so you are just as likely to get a leaky rad, rusty steel pipe or split rubber hose.

Yep get one fitted its a no brainer really - I've had a hose leak and more recently a major rad leak in the two years ive had my year 2000 V6. As Simon says they share the same coolant system and are also knocking on a bit now.

My coolant alarm saved the day when I'd not refitted the expansion tank cap properly - embarrassing yes but it could have been a whole lot worse if I hadn't had the LCA !
