Hi

Now just need to locate a squeak from the engine

Ah...the dreaded engine squeak, Kato!....that'll be the 2 litre, then....I hear they're rated in "mouse power" rather than Horsepower

Just Kidding...

Squeaks:
engine mounts; Fan belts; air tube mounts on the chassis; exhaust....so many , it's just a case of having a drive round with the passenger seat hatch propped open to check it out
Cheers
Helen
In the beginning there was nothing , then God said "Let there be Light".....There was still nothing , but ,by crikey, you could see it better.

door trim against door seal in that corner by dash is usually the culprit. give the gap a squirt of trim spray and see.

Release us from our suspense Ady

I have developed the same squeak, usually in hotter weather. With little spare time, is there a quick fix?

I also have a rattle in my door that will need tracing!
the end caps of the dash pull off then you will see the dash mounting brackets put some locktite on em and tighten them up,there are some in the centre of the dash too.
I'll have to give that a go as I'm another with an annoying dash rattle which is transmitted through the driver's side air vent. Currently have the end cap off trying isolate the vibration.

The only other rattle I have is off the tailgate as one of the rubber bump stops is missing.
