Sliding seat mechanism

Post by Sparticus » Thu Oct 24, 2013 6:17 pm

my rear seat has a lever near the middle to the front to move the seat.
My middle seats however have a full length bar to lift to slide the seats, this however is to the back of the seats. Is this normal? It would seem easier to access if it was at the front.
Reality looks interesting from this distance.

Doesn't sound like a standard setup. Both seats normally have the handle at the front and a strap on the rear of one of the seat 'legs'

Assuming they're both benches I wonder if they have been swapped round?
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.

It was a silly question, in that I should have known the answer. The seat has been modified, the bench seat has been converted to that it can turned round, the lift up bar is obviously part of the conversion.
