hi all, i have a 1995 2.5 turbo diesel, i had never used the leisure battery because i always used the hook up,however after testing the leisure battery i found that it was gubbed, i bought a new one and all seems to be well, but i noticed when the van is parked in my drive with the p.m.s swithed off and the van--car button switched off the fridge is still running, surely this cant be right?,any help welcome

Fridges are quite often wired direct into the leisure battery. The wires may come from the PMU but usually it's just a terminal that goes direct to the LB.
I put a separate switch with an LED in the wire to the fridge to make sure it was turned off OK.

I've seen this too. It'[s done to keep the cabling as short and thick as possible to get the best efficiency out of the fridge. People just turn the dial on the fridge down to zero - which turns it off!
