low buzzing noise
Hi all hope someone can help with this mystery, we have just been to the lakes for two nights and on the second night a buzzing noise was coming from the dashboard. We checked that nothing had been left on or open and all was okay. The next day we started her up and as soon as we moved off the buzz went off.Parked over night and this morning again the buzz has returned-again disappears when driven.Any advice gratefully received, thanks in advance.

No idea, I'm afraid, but welcome to the Forum.

This might be a long shot, but do you have an analog clock fitted in the dash? possible more noticeable at night when everything is quiet.

Are you switching the Ignition to OFF or only to ACC ? The Air Con sensor front fan has a little fan built into it to draw the air thru see http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... 23#p530723
Re: low buzzing noise
Sorry can't be of any help but I had a relay buzzing once on an old Ford. Turns out it was caused by a faulty earth somewhere. Not sure how that was but the guy doing the job fettled it with spanner and a file??

Re: low buzzing noise
if you have a split charge system fitted that charges the leisure battery from the starter bat it could be this sensing the voltage dropping, then when you start the bongo the alternator ups the charge.
Re: low buzzing noise
Crime watch update-I have played about with split charge wires and up to now all is okay.Might have been a loose wire or connection but noise gone for now. Thanks to all who replied.
