broken sink needs fixing where can I get parts?

Post by aa1sarah » Fri Oct 04, 2013 11:01 pm

The tube that connects the water from the water tank to the tap has a broken seal, so when you turn the tap on the water tube shoots of the sink end and soaks the cupboard!! And advice on hoe I can fix it or get parts will be greatly appreciated as I've only had my bingo 3 week's so I'm still learning but I love my bingo very much and want to get her fixed asap,

Many thanks,

Sarah

Any idea who did the conversion? If it is a Montague, 321Away do parts for their own conversions. Most of the parts, SMEV sinks and hobs are also found in caravans and a caravan dealer who does spares would be your best bet.

The sink seals on mine are all just jubilee clips and fitting and tightening a new one deals with most leaks.

Thank you, we will take photos and post. The pipe has completely disconnected and when we try and attach it it doesn't stay put. It looks like a black rubber washer has broken. Too be honest I think we were too rough taking it out of the water tank and have pulled it away from the sink from underneath.when we turn on the tap the pressure of the water makes it pop out of the hole again.

We were hoping to be able to do a bit of DIY ourselves!

Thank you for your help.

C.A.K. Tanks have a comprehensive catalogue of bits and bobs. Might be worth a google/browse - they have a sister online shop (leisureline ???).

Is what appears to be a broken washer actually the end of the pipe which has broken off? In this case the fittings will be left on the end of the tap.
