what the 'Beeeeeeeeeeeeeep' is that.

Post by Nutcase » Mon Oct 07, 2013 7:00 pm

Owned a freeda 2.5d about 10 months now and I absolutely love it, suitesmy lifestyle and hobby perfectly and the 4 wheel drive is fantatic, anyway 4 months ago after much reading on here decided to fit the low coolant alarm just incase and am I glad.

My mate bought a car in birmingham and needed it towing home, a 280 mile round trip, so we sets off down the M1 , 70 miles later, Beeeeeeeeeeeeeep, pulls over, header tank empty, tops up, 5 mile later pull up at services and off it goes again, the radiator has burst, thank god I fit the alarm or it might of been scrap.

Anyway, new rad ordered, so has anyone got any tips for the bleeding of my beast. Cheers guys.

There are still peeps out there who reckon they are a waste of money !!
They rely on visual checks before a journey (do they actually do that) and their nose whilst driving.
