V6 Petrol Injectors.

Post by windywatson » Sun Sep 22, 2013 10:18 am

Hi all,

I have a misfire problem that is being very difficult to diagnose. the engine misses on start up for about 30secs and then clears and runs fine.
I've had all of the usual stuff you would do on a V6 done which is renewed all HT related items. My garage has suggested that it may be 1 or more lazy fuel injectors. Sticking and freeing up once fired a few times.
Has anyone else had these symptoms & if so what was cause?
Also has anyone had to buy new injectors & if so where from & what sort of price?

cheers

Might just be a bit of crud in the system. Try putting in a fuel additi/injection cleaner and run it for a while see if it make any difference before spending lot of lolly on injectors?

Just a thought!
