Turbo Air Intake - corrugated pipe - 2.5TD 1996

Post by hijimhere » Tue Sep 03, 2013 12:41 am

while sorting out the new radiator I had cause to remove the plastic intake pipe to the turbo --I found that it leads to a corrugated pipe that goes round the back of the engine to meet the Turbo inlet---- on looking into the engine bay, near side, the turbo corrugated pipe is clearly split and past it's best. has anyone found a source for new corrugated pipe section??

The corrugated pipe that you refer to is a type of heat shield, they are split for fitting and removal purposes. If the turbo pipe itself was split you would soon know about it.

Good Luck.
