Window switch

I know window window switches have been covered many times but I still cannot suss mine out ..

No 'blown' fuses ..

Drivers window is OK .. but my passenger side is 'dead' when using either door buttons ..

I have had both door panels off .. stripped both the door jamb wire insulations off .. looked / pulled and I cannot see any chafed or broken wires .. all connections are clean .. bright and tight ..

What colour wire feeds lecky to the passenger side .. or maybe the best procedure to meter / jump which coloured wires for power / continuity ..??

The n/side window iolator isn't on ? Just by chance,
The power to the pass window comes from the drivers side ,check the feed from o/s to n/s first

No the 'anti meddle' switch is not on .. and the drivers side works fine ..

Just need the colour of the wires to see what feeds what .. or in my case is not feeding what ..!!

The DR1 loom which connects the drivers door back to the vehicle terminates on two plugs X-16 and X-17, the two connectors are on the page below and plus 1 page and the colour codes are shown for each wire, click the for the colour codes themselves;

Mine are in one hell of a mess, I have a "new" loom to fit but with my back killing me I just cannot get to do it, might have to see if I can get it done, wonder how much it will cost tho, anyone any ideas.

I have checked my wires and they seem OK with no signs of a previous 'bodge up job' or split / cut wires .. bad connections etc:

The only thing I have noticed is the wires in both doors seem stiff / hard ..ie:- not as flexible as normal multi strand car wires .. dunno if this is normal ..??

I found the Japanese wiring diagram a 'bit confusing' so it may be a case of being more by luck than judgement, to if I suss out my dodgy wire(s) ..!!

If you have a meter, then you could check what is happening from the passenger motor side, with no switches operated (other than the Lock switch, set for unlocked) you should have continuity from both sides of the motor to earth. That will check the connectivity all the way thru to the drivers door and then to earth from the switch. If either side is NOT a full connection to earth then at least that indicates which wires to look at. Pressing either switch connects one side or the other of the motor to +12v. Operating the Lock switch removes the earth connection to both sides of the motor.

The drivers window works OK .. I will meter the passengers window motor wires out .. as neither the drivers or passengers window switch works .. I had assumed it was may be the feed wire ..

I think this might be what I need to do too, but I must confess I'm not very technical when it comes to cars. Computers and the Internet, I can do - but cars are still a bit of a mystery.
I have a V reg V6 Mazda Bongo Friendee and the passenger side window switch, along with the switch for the passenger side window on the driver's side has stopped working. A mechanic looked at it and said I needed to get a new switch, but I'm not sure which (or do I need both?) and how to go about making sure I get the right one (from eBay, or wherever else you'd get one).
And reading up on here I now see it might be the "wiring loom" too - how can I tell, and what do I need to do (in words that a non-mechanic would understand)?
Thanks for any help that you might be able to give. I've tried reading posts on this forum, but they are just a bit too technically worded for me at the moment.
