UNDER SEALING

Decided to take the plunge and get the old girl under sealed that's my 2001 V6 bongo not the wife
And I have to say what a brilliant job Micheal and his team at RUSTMASTER in Hatfield did.
First a good steam clean then the under plan dried with high powered heaters.
Followed by all the cavities,crevasses,doors and bonnets probed with a white non setting wax.
Finally all the underneath covered in hard black wax looks like new.
All for £390.00 inc VAT
Not peanuts but better than getting rust.
Thinking about it maybe the wife would benefit with a visit to rustmaster

Just thinking of taking the undersealing 'plunge' myself. How long did they need the Bongo for? Cheers

As mine as never been properly treated I have just started to do mine myself as part of a full service ..







I have removed my door cards to wax oil inside the doors and have a proper pressure pot waxoil gun with long nylon probes to get inside the cavities .. note the auto box sump that I have removed to clean...while I'm at it .. it was interesting to find the sump as a drain plug ..



I am flushing the box out via the radiator coolant pipes using Dexron111 semi synthetic fluid ..
