Vinyl seats

Post by tattoodaisy » Mon Aug 12, 2013 6:02 pm

I'm looking to get my seats recovered in vinyl, while having a semi conversion done. Not sure if the price for 3 seats, two front and one flipped rear, is reasonable or not. Could anyone give me recommendations where I might get a second quote or a ball park figure.

What price were you quoted? Kevin Baggs in Poole does the upholstery for Imperial and I've used to him to flatten the rear bench seat and make all the other cushions. He's not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

About £800 for 3 seats in vinyl. I'll call Kevin and get a quote to compare.

Thanks.

P.S - those seats look quite comfy. Did they recover as well as flattening?

The seat is very comfy once flattened. All the foam is replaced while the original centre upholstery panels are retained and then all the rest of the material replaced.
