loosening air con pump

Post by hijimhere » Sat Aug 10, 2013 3:54 pm

I am replacing belts and of course the air con has to be loosened. The two top bolts seem to be where to start - they are ver very tight -- can anyone advise if these are normal undo anti clockwise???? just being cautious as broken bits in this area are to be avoided at all costs

Replaced Air con belt - by the looks of it just in time. The old belt was at the top of the adjustment - the new belt was a biatch to line up and get on the adjuster - had to put on lowest adjustment point possible. http://www.flickr.com/photos/16326870@N07/9517114402/

if the belt for the ac is really tight i would check very carefully the part number as the v6 belt is very similar in part number but is slightly smaller in size.
