V6 Air Con Recharge Points

Post by BongoBonkers » Thu Aug 01, 2013 8:38 am

Hi

Our V6 aircon is not working and it is going to our local garage tomorrow. Does anyone know if there are two seperate air con systems (as in front and rear?). In addition, if anyone could tell me where the one or more recharge points for the system is / are I would be forever grateful.

Thanks

Dave

The H & L connections shown in Mike's post are the same for all Bongo variants. The front & rear units share the same refrigerant, so there is only one pair of connections. Might be worth printing out the factsheet in the members area in case the garage are not familiar with the system. A decent garage with up to date kit will have access to all the correct technical data regarding amount of gas & PAG oil required. If they can't get the correct data, then I personally would take it somewhere else.
