Hi all
I seem to have a problem with my bongo and i was wondering if anyone if anyone can give me some answers.
Last weekend i replaced both of my batteries and at on time did i get any sparks at all.
once i had finished i run the bongo up and took it for a run, when i returned i parked up the bongo and everything was fine.
one week on after having the bongo plugged into the house keeping the batteries maintained on a proper intelligent battery charger, I go to unlock the van on the alarm key fob and only the driver door unlocks. put the key in the ignition turn the key and the glow put light is flashing this keeps going until i start the bongo, after a while of running the bongo i can then get the central locking to unlock all the doors, in addition to this the stereo manages to loss all its memory settings.
if i then stop the bongo and get out the central locking work fine opening and closing all the doors if i walk away from the van and leave it for about 5 mins once then return the van is back to square one with the central locking not working and the stereo with no memory once more.
Any ideas anyone.......

Re: flashing glow plug light
sounds like a faulty voltage sensing split charge relay. which one have you got fitted is it a willinton or ryder unit or one of the 2 types on ebay at the moment.
just had the mrs.s split charge system go again, it is fitted with a small ryder unit which has failed 3 times now so i have spent a bit more money this time on a larger amp unit.
the old smaller rated ones were welding the contacts over time, both ways, so the symptoms were different each time.
