power steering fluid loss
The steering was making strange noises recently so we checked the psf and found it to be low. Topped up before leaving home in Suffolk and have driven down to the Wye valley. On a fairly tight lock reversing into our pitch noticed oil on the ground, same thing with almost full lock reverse parking........ checked psf and found we are losing oil. Any suggestions as to where the leak might be from and why on reverse full lock? And is it going to be yet another expensive repair to the money pit?

Re: power steering fluid loss
Leaks are often spotted when steering is at 'full lock'. Read the link for advice: http://igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/view ... ss#p510779

You can get power steering / auto gearbox 'conditioner' which refutable 'softens up' the seals and 'O' rings ..
