Ok so armed with some new bulbs tonight I set about fitting the side light bulbs. But failed at the first hurdle. I managed to unclip the connection to the bulb but no way could I see how to remove it. My bongo has hid lights does this make it harder? I've always been able to do my cars even if I had to remove a headlamp etc.
Thinking I might ask the garage to do it but iI do like to do stuff myself if I can.

Re: Side light bulb change
On the non HID ones it is a bayonet fitting i.e. rotate anticlockwise about a quarter of a turn to remove. I don't even disconnect the cable to replace a bulb, just twist out, change bulb, twist back in again.
Re: Side light bulb change
That's what I thought but it looks like part of the casing to the main lamp. I will try again to twist my feeling is the hid lamp backs are different maybe and that makes changing them slightly different.
