1st night out tonight!
1st night out tonight!
Heading for Trossachs caravan park near Gartmore for the 'shakedown' overnight.
The good weather has coincided with the increase in wedding planning activity, so it was a case of threatening to go off on my own that geed up my better half.
Will we survive our first awning erection?

What a perfect day we got, sat under the shade of two silver birches, read and supped a cheeky chilled white
It's a very high quality site so was more or less full, lots of static caravans + tourers & foreign motorhomes. No other Bongos/Freda's.
Small shop, coffee shop/tv lounge, immaculate toilets/showers.
I'd say good for an overnight, but local attractions need to be driven to.
Pictures will be posted when I've cut the grass!

1st nights camping, Gordon, What have you been doing all year, we have 5 weekends away so far, next one at Stourport, you need to make more use of your bongo maybe you can make the next squirrel bash.

Jim, I've been watching the funds fly away as the big wedding day approaches + Margaret has become a demon bowler and keeps getting calls to go and play a match
We've been restricted to days out but now we've broken the duck
A few pics.
We're delighted with the awning but need more figure of 8 clips, hence the major use of string.
Hope to catch up with you soon
