Gone a little bit sharky!

Post by martinjp76 » Mon Jun 03, 2013 10:28 am

Got my new decals on and so I should be pretty easy to spot around Bristol. They are actually silver, not white like they look in the picture, so match the bottom strip.

Give me a wave if you see me about. There are a lot of Bongos in the streets round me (just off the Wells Rd in Knowle).

I have a thing about sharks basically (diving with, trying to stop people killing them!), hence the choice. Going to see if I can get a bonnet one too.

Still not having any joy getting a set of used alloys with decent tyres. Found a nice set of Mazda 323 ones near me and then discovered that those won't fit!

Also need to get the suspension checked as it does rather jiggle and sound quite loud over bumps. I've been told this is pretty normal for Bongos, but having never driven another, I'm not sure.

Thankfully I checked that first. Was a shame as from a breakers through ebay and were really close to my house. Also £150 (werre up for £200) with decent tyres!

Nevermind. Maybe I should spend the money sorting the arches out and getting the chips/scrapes on the front touched up!

Put a Kenwood DAB radio in also, which was a doddle to fit and works a treat. Shame there are no rear speakers though!
