Ok guys, looked through the tech stuff and cant find anything about removing the ignition barrel anywhere.
problem is i have a snapped key in there, still works with the end of the key but want to get out the broken piece so a new key will work. any hints or tricks to this, cant see a release hole anywhere for the barrel.
what are my options, remove whole unit and play on bench or is there a release pin to remove just the barrel???

Put a small amount of superglue on the end of the bit you've got - push the bits together for a few seconds, then pull the whole key out
Just make sure that you don't put too much glue on, so that it sticks to the barrel.

What method are you using to turn the snapped key to start it? Have you got a photo showing the remains of the key? Perhaps we can offer some suggestions when we can see where abouts the break is.
