Exhaust noise 2.0l petrol

I've got a high pitched noise when accelerating hard, it's been on the ramp and colleagues said it's coming from the end of the tailpipe as the gas is exiting, has anyone else heard this before.
I was thinking of fitting a finisher on the end to change the shape slightly to see if it fixes it.
Any ideas?

That probably would change it a bit if the length of the tailpipe is altered a bit...It may be a kind of "organ pipe" effect

Aye thats what it sounds like, more like a musical note type of thing.

Had this with a vehicle a few years ago,it was a baffle that had moved,a poke with a steel rod cured it,i think the note was B flat Minor.
