Brighton Anyone?
Following on from a suggestion by Dr Fingers in this thread
http://igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/view ... 46#p591911
I will meet you in Brighton for a pint and some chips Derek. Anyone else? How about 7th July? The inaugural London (well Cheesington) to Brighton Bongo run!

Count me in, as long as I'm not off on hols (quite likely then).
However, Brighton isn't the most Bongo-parking-friendly place i can think of

Re: Brighton Anyone?
Dyke pub is good for parking but only one pint !
Depending on how many are coming maybe us Brightonians can sort out visitor car parking vouchers (£2.50 each)
but you could then park up overnight
There is good seafront parking near me in Hove

I'm easy, won't be on the beer in any case, and won't be staying over, so happy to go with the consensus.
There quite a few Bongs around here that I see regularly, but no idea if they're forum members.

Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

The Dyke pub looks good on Google Streetview - seems plenty of parking, nice pub and a view. Lets go for it.

Re: Brighton Anyone?
I am busy most weekends at the moment - my original suggestion was 7th July - gives people a bit of 'planning time'.

This sounds like a good idea. I'm flexible on the date so I'll go with the flow here.
Re: Brighton Anyone?
We are happy to do both 11th May and 7th July or any date people can make.
