Hi, one of the jobs that's been hanging around on my 'B List' of things to get Adrian (Japan Direct, Bury) to look at is the soft close mechanism on the side door of my 97 2.5d AFT.
It used to work, then seemed to go through a period of over activity, started working periodically and then gave up the ghost completely. Tried roughing up the contracts but to no avail.
Anyway, having failed to fix it, Adrian concluded that it was an electrical issue best resolved by replacing the electrics with those from one of his donor Bongos. Unfortunately to donor Bongo had just 1 'box' where as mine had 3.
Does anyone know what these boxes are called; a part number or a description? Any idea where I might get some from?

In the beginning there was nothing , then God said "Let there be Light".....There was still nothing , but ,by crikey, you could see it better.
