Hi southern softies

We are a couple of wannabe Bongo owners. Have a caravan we are very seriously considering selling to buy a Bongo instead. Have been trawling this club page and forum for a month or so and have viewed a few converted Bongos at a dealer garage. Would we be allowed to pop along as visitors on Sunday and check out some of your lovely Bongos and get some buying advice?

Thanks

Welcome to the Mad House, Phil.

You will be made very welcome on the Sunday. We have to be off early, but I can promise a jolly and welcoming (if slightly muzzy) crew.

Just show up. :)

As a rule, I'd say Saturday afternoon is much better for catching lots of Bongos in their nests before they migrate back home. The Bob Bongo though rarely flies at dawn, as it is a singing nightbird

Hi,if you have the funds, why not keep the caravan, buy a diesel or V6 Bongo to tow it, and have the best of both worlds.....space and home comforts of a caravan, together with the towing ability, versatility and pleasure of the Bongo......go on,you know you want to =P~ =P~

Would just like to thank all the people who made me feel welcome on my day visit to the SS meet. It was good to see so many variations of bongos and camping styles. I asked way too many questions but all of them were answered enthusiastically. It was also nice to be introduced to the bongomaster, wasn't expecting that. Anyway I'm gonna try to get to Stourport now that know what a friendly bunch you are.

Special mention to Masie for playing so well with Maddy

See you lot soon

Si

Haydn's daughter Jo here....

Was lovely to meet so many friendly people and finally put faces to names at long last. Thanks to all who took the time to share their opinions and experiences on coolant and temperature alarms with me. Looking forward to hearing Simon Jones views on the new TM4 Twin Sensor for the V6 Bongo...

What a lovely campsite and beautiful weather!!!! My daughter Poppy is really looking forward to our trip to the Bongo Bash in June and camping in Grumps and Grandma's Bella Bongo.

Thanks again and see you all in June...

Here are some photos from the Southern Softies meet. I forgot to include my set up, but I've been posting on Facebook throughout the weekend.

We had lovely weather, fantastic turnout and great company!

I walked on Thursday and Friday, and then rested on Saturday, providing a bus home for tired walkers!!!

Click on the thumbnail for the photos.
