Coolant alarm wiring question

Post by 2newbies » Sun Apr 21, 2013 7:24 pm

Hi, i'm in the process of fitting a leisure battery kit. Just been outside to Daisy and checked the wiring to my coolant alarm and it appears to be wired up to the stereo. Obviously I am going to have to rewire it so it's not on all the time... Looking at the wiring, I have a black and red wire, and a red wire. Can someone tell me which one is positive because having checked the fitting instructions on the fact sheet, the wiring is red and black, and black, so I'm a bit confused...!
Ta very much as always,
Paul

If you are talking about the wires from the alarm........
RED IS POSITIVE
RED/BLACK IS NEGATIVE
