Hi can any body help? How do you change the tail light bulb in the tailgate of a new shape bongo.

I did investigate this a while ago when I was determining the bulb type.

I either removed the inside panel (care required not to break the clips)

or

I removed the plastic looking bolts which are on the outside edges of the tailgate.

Sorry, cannot remember now!

I would go for removing the bolts (two each side) and then pulling the lens unit slightly away from the surface of the tailgate before sliding the plastic lens unit towards the side of the tailgate. Seems the most likely.

I think you'll find you have to remove the inside door panel and membrane.
Then you can just reach the bulb holders with a couple of fingers through
the access holes in the door.
Not easy as the holes are not in line with the lights.
Next time one of mine blows I'm going to replace them with LED types.
A lot of work to change a small bulb!
