Fans to keep the van cool in hot weather

Post by vj3 » Sun Apr 14, 2013 8:15 pm

Can anyone suggest an internal oscillating fan (12v) to use in the bongo if there is hot weather.
we are off to the continent in the summer and i am a bit concerned it may get rather hot in the van at night.
Or other suggestions on keeping cool in hot weather.

vicki

ps i have forgotten what hot weather is !!!!!!!!

There is this one on ebay, easily screwed to a piece of wood so it can be stood anywhere.
You need to be careful you don't flatten your battery overnight whichever fan you buy.

TBH I've never found small fans to be any use at all - I ended up buying a 16" mains powered one when I was in the South of France.
