Post by spamula » Sun Dec 17, 2006 7:19 pm

I have a rip in my bongo tent/mosquito net. I think a patch would be best does anyone know where I can get some tent fabric and some mosie net fabric for my bongo? I have a purple camper tent top.

Unfortunate ID, spamula!

There has been previous discussion on tent rips, I suggest that you use the (cr*p) search facility to turn it up.

Try this for starters:

We just cut our netting off we think it looks better and you wouldn't believe how filthy it was.

Try a Bongo breaker .They may have complete tent ( in blue or another colour! ) - or a ripped one from which you could cut patching material .You could try a contrasting patch - white , in the shape of a cloud :D
Tent repairers have special glue to apply patch but best solution is to glue and stitch The tent usually needs to be removed from frame for a pro finish ( see previous topic in search facility - covers patching and tent removal - somewhere)
