is the front grill from a Mazda the same as the ford?

I've got one on my Mazda . It was there when I bought it but it fits perfectly. Hope this helps

Do you mean stylistically or fitment-wise ?

They look nothing like each other and the Freda has a dirty great Ford badge on it ... :mrgreen:
as for fitting I'd guess they locate the same way but can't confirm that...

They are a different design but interchangeable.

My van is a bitza.. And I do like the ford grill better... And mine on my van has over spray on it.. (and I'm a Essex girl.. It's got to be ford lol

Yes indeedy :D . I think the Ford ones look better than the Mazda ones, but didn't look too closely at what would be involved in taking out the Ford badge. When I run out of other things to do (and I have a pretty long list at the moment so it won't be anytime soon!) I may try and get a couple of ford grilles and see if it would be possible to cut out the centre badge, then plastic weld straight slat sections from the second grille back in to have a de-badged front end but using the ford style grille.

I fitted a Ford grille. Removed the Ford badge, wrapped it in carbon wrap (the badge) and put it back in with a Mazdaspeed badge on top. Looks tidy.
