rock and roll bed

Post by derita » Sat Apr 13, 2013 2:57 pm

Hi all

I have a Bongo but when the bed is fully out it stops us iopening the fridge, I know why should you want to get at the fridge when asleep??

But it aslo means very little manouvering room at trhe front.

Has any one shortened their be by about 6 inches?

It looks as thought the unit is easily removed since it only seem to be held down with four good bolts

Any one know if there are captive bolts on the underside?

Thanks

Any chance of a photo or details on what conversion you have as there are lots of different types out there. If they have used the bolt holes from the original seat rails then at least two might have captive nuts, but more likely they will have drilled straight through the floor so you'll need to get under the van to find the nuts.
