Please help.
I have an N reg bonbon freetop, just lately as I have been driving, when I break the engine stalls. All the power goes off and the then the engine stops. It will then take a few mins of trying to turn the engine over then it will start again. It does not happen on every journey however it is doing it more often.
I have had it serviced, the fuel stainer cleaned, however it is still doing it.
Any advice please.
Engine keeps stalling please help

Have a search for fuel starvation in case its that. Stuff like this has happened before.

Hi the first thing you need to do is make sure that the battery is secure and the terminals and associate fused link are also secure and clean.
Good luck.
PS it might also be worthwhile contacting the previouse owner for a wee bit of honest history,if possible.

A few things that would be helpful to know:
Is it diesel? I guess it is, so try loosening the fuel filler cap to ensure you are not getting a vacuum building up. Other possibility is seals on the injector pump allowing air in or diesel out.
Is is an automatic gearbox? If so, is it disengaging or when you are using the brake is it physically stalling the engine? Try putting it into neutral just before you brake.
Have a search on the forum. By putting in 'stall AND brake' a number of results came back including this one:
