Roof Vents in rear
I had one of these held in by two screws - it was split where the screws were so I got a replacement vent. I undid the screws and the vent fell into my hands. Like an idiot I decided to take off the other vent. I then could see how these vents are held in situ. Although damage had been done to the split vent in taking of the other one I ruined it's mountings to the roof felt. So I now have two good vents that will not stay in situ no matter how hard I try just the action of shuting any door makes them fall out. Any one managed to secure these vents gggrrrooan - put on the lists, don't do that again, I learned from this.

I think what I'd be tempted to try is to make a new mounting piece out of thin plastic sheet which could be inserted behind the headlining for the vent to clip into.

are they not held through the felt using the plastic posts and a push on internal star clip thingy, try a large thin washer then the star washer.
