Rubber transmission pipe

Post by briwy » Sun Mar 17, 2013 1:55 pm

Does anyone know the specification of the rubber pipe that goes from the bottom of the rad to the metal pipes going back to the gearbox please.
It looks like pretty standard thick walled heater hose type stuff but I just want to be sure I replace it with the correct spec.
What pressure does the transmission fluid run at?

The pressure would not be a problem ... but make sure that it is hydraulic / oil proof and not normal heater hose ..!!

This might help, also fittings if needed.

PS just measure the OD and ID of the old hose.
