Wheel wobble at 65 and non standard 18 inch alloys
we have a mazda bongo 2000 2.5lt petrol and we have severe wheel wobble at 65 and above, here is a picture of the wheel, could someone tell me if we already have and/or do we need spiggot wheels? if we do need them how would we measure for them?

There is no picture
Do you know what the wheels came off? If not, measure the centre bore of your wheel and get spigot rings to drop it to 67.1mm, which is the centre bore of the Bongo wheels.
To be honest, both of mine had a bit of a wobble at 65ish, no matter what I tried

sorry cannot seem to upload picture but read though some other posts on here now, we have measured it at 67.1mm where do we take the other measurement from? is it the inside of the hole on the alloy ?
Re: Wheel wobble at 65 and non standard 18 inch alloys

It would also be worthwhile checking that the Off Set is within the manufacturer's recommended limits.peanutbutter64 wrote:great thanks everyone, for others who need help i found this website useful http://www.spigotrings.com there is a page on measuring and how to measure

Re: Wheel wobble at 65 and non standard 18 inch alloys
Remember bongos are like a house brick, they are not really designed for speed..and I know 65 is not zooming but they will tend to wovbble a bit from that speed up, especially if the tyre pressure, balancing and tracking are not spot on, worth checking all and tyre wear too.

Absolutely no wheel wobble with my 18" RX-8 wheels. Cruises at 70+ MPH with no problem.

If you go to eBay put in Mazda bongo and about eight ad there's a set of widgets for a bongo check size and see if they will do you?
