When I looked at the left (green) and the right (blue) holder .. I reckoned some ones got there left and rights mixed up ..!!

Won't the actual glass bulb pull out of the holder ... ??

Could well have mixed it up..??  The tall brown rubbery one... At least they don't rattle around annoyingly like the rest do in the cup holder on the centre console while i look for a replacement..

Pulling out the bulb & replacing in this case looks too much like a fiddle to me!!

I used bulbs in the blind switches from model railway stuff I had. The bulbs were identical and easy to change.

lol when you say you found them easy to replace did you mean just the bulb ie taken out of its sleeve and another put in its place? Definitely want to have bragging rights of fitting a Hornby part to the machine. lol pmsl

They were just small leds used to put in buildings on a train layout. You just take the bulbs out the holder and wrap the legs around. I'm sure you know this already, especially Jaylee.
If anyone is taking the p£$$ out of railway modelling I will take off my anorak and come down and sort you out.

Just thought i'd mention regarding the long rubbery bulb in the blind switches....

Popped into Lansdown Mazda today on the off chance, clutching said bulb... I was expecting a knock-back on this one, but to my surprise the parts guy logged in & pulled up the schematic of a Bongo dash & switch parts on his computer... 8)

I should know tomorrow if its the right bulb on order...
