Quick up/down awning
We've got a lovely big awning, but it takes ages to put up (we're not massively quick to be honest) is there a quick pop-up tent or something similar that attached to the Bongo?
Re: Quick up/down awning
Hi, I use this 'Quick Erect' awning from Khyam.

The video convinced me it was what I wanted. Other suppliers might use a similar system.

Another Khyam Motordome Tourer owner here.
As a solo camper I can confirm it's a doddle to set up or take down in a couple of minutes.

Kyham. Brilliant bit of kit and really well designed.
Matches my Bongo colour scheme too

Khyam Motordome is without a doubt the easiest one if you want to attach.
Quechua Base Seconds is the quieckest and easiest bar none. Fits up nicely to the side on the Bongo but doesn't attach as such.
Lots of info on both available on these boards.

Why?...........Because somebody might wave back.

Quechua Standard Base Tent - although they're harder to find nowadays. Doesn't attach but you can't get quicker!

Re: Quick up/down awning
Be careful with the khyam, sold ours after 6 years. Great tent but definitely a knack to using them
Re: Quick up/down awning
Quechua base for me (got both seconds and full) - doesnt attach no, but the dimensions mean its almost as good as. Up and down so quickly too.
Use both linked when camping and have been know to attach a Seconds 3 man tent too. Ultimate flexibility - very happy
